Cochran boiler is a vertical, multitubular, internally fired, fired, fire tube boiler.It is a low pressure,medium capacity boiler.The maximum capacity of cochran boiler is about 4000 kg of steam per hour and the maximum pressure of steam produced is about 10 bat.It mainly consists of a cylindrical shell with hemispherical crown, fire box,grate, combustion chamber,smoke box and chimney for connecting pressure gauge, water gauge, safety valve,steam stop value,fusible plug.
